The RCHS freshmen football team played their final fame on the road last week in Page County. The Panthers vs the Panthers as both teams share the same school mascot However, they couldn't share the victory and the Rappahannock County Panthers came from behind to win their last game before some dedicated Rapp football fans that have caught the fever. It was an exciting football game that capped a terrific first season for high school football at RCHS. The win gave the Panthers a .500 season with 3 wins and 3 losses.
The game started with Rapp kicking off to the home team. Page was unable to move the ball on their first series and punted back to the visitors. On the first offensive play from scrimmage for the Rapp team, freshman Anthony Clinedinst broke through the left side of the Page defense and rambled 75 yards for the score.
