It seems that baby boomers have put their own unique stamp on very other aspect of american life, so it should come as no surprise that many of them are bringing their own sensibility to death. That is, they are breaking with tradition and opting for customized funerals that reflect their own individual styles, according to a recent survey, nearly half o the the baby boomers polled indicated that they want their families to throw a big party when they die. In accordance with their wishes, many would eschew organ musicin preference for a jazz service. While not everyone's taste runs along these lines, the trend does show that a funeral can be as individualized as the person being celebrated.
