There will be card readings, face painting, chair massages, a raffle, and food and drink ongoing throughout the day. Also, there will be a “moon watch” station and exhibit set up for viewing the nearly-full moon after dark.

Dec. 6-8
On the weekend of Dec. 68, Washington, Va. will host a series of charming, old fashioned holiday festivities. Highlights of the weekend will include an open house and tea on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 2 to 5 p.m., hosted by The Inn at Little Washington in their newly restored Tavern across the street from The Inn.
On Sunday beginning at 3 p.m., Patrick O’Connell, Chef of The Inn, will offer a cooking class on holiday entertaining and edible gift ideas in the Tavern’s ballroom.
Both events will benefit the Rappahannock Association for Arts and the Community.
Dancers costumed in colonial attire will be performing throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday in the Town Hall. Three performances of the Shepherd’s Play will be given at Ki Theatre and there will be a candlelight tour of the Tbwn’s B&B’s. Shops in town will be open late each evening to accommodate visitors.
Tickets for the benefit tea are $18 and can be purchased at the door. Advance reservations are required for the cooking class, which will also benefit RAAC and may be secured by calling 675-3807. Tickets for the class are $45 per person. Each class is limited to 50 persons.
