For all our area folk, who probably because of the rainy weekend missed the Apple Harvest Festival at Graves Mountain in Syria; the festival will be held again this weekend, Oct. 19 and 20, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Activities will include making apple butter; brunswick stew; horseback and hay rides; craft and art fair; picking your own apples; the doggers will be performing from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. and Blue Grass music will be featured each day.
Folks in our area and especially those who had any connection in days gone by with A. G. Richardson School in Culpeper are invited to enter the contest of renaming the school. Oct. 31 is the deadline to get entries in.
The Social Security Administration has recently moved to their new facility at 1014 South Main Street in Culpeper and are planning an open house Friday
