It seemed like the Panther drive would stall when Clinedinst busted a 3rd and 15 play off- the left side for .an apparent first down.
But young #2, Luke Wilson was called for blocking in the back and the first down was nullified and Rapp had to kick. Unfortunately, the ball was hiked over punter Howie Clark's head and the Page defense picked up the loose ball and ran it in for the go-ahead score. This time they got the two-point conversion and led 20 to 16. That's how the first half ended.
Page kicked off to the visiting Panthers to start the second half. On the third play from scrimmage, quarterback Corbin faked a hand-off and started around his left side on a bootleg. He cut back across the midfield, dodging Page defenders everywhere. He continued all the way to other side of the field on a 42-yard scamper for a TD in one of the prettiest runs of the season. TTie run for the extra points failed but Rapp led 22 to 20.
