Bridge, W.Va., the daughter of the late Carson Edward and Ada Oates Swisher.
She was the co-owmer of Town House Restaurant in Winchester and was a member of First Christian Church and Women of the Moose.
Mrs. Darlington married James Peyton Darlington on April 11, 1932 in Hagerstown, Md.
Surviving with her husband are three grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, two of which reside in Rappahannock, Ethan Darlington and Michael Darlington, both of Amissville and a sister. Eula McCarty of Martinsburg, W.Va.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by two daughters, Jean Darlington and JoAnne Darlington; three sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services were conducted on Friday, Oct. 11 at Omps Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Gray officiating. Interment was in Mt. Hebron Cemetery.

Everett Gus Danley, 83, of Amissville died Monday, Oct. 7 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army, then later worked for the Department of the Army as the Records Management Officer at Fort Bel voir.
He was a member and past president of the board of directors of Camp WaMaVa in Linden and was also active in Literacy Volunteers of Fauquier County.
