With only five days remaining until the election, Rappahannock County Registrar Nancy Newlin wants to be sure all residents know when and where to cast their vote.
“When voters came into our office to register,” she said, “they gave me their street address and were then assigned a polling place for Nov. 2. There are six throughout the county.”
Those six are: Washington Volunteer Fire Department (101st precinct); Amissville Volunteer Fire Department (201st precinct); Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department (301st precinct); Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church in Scrabble (401st precinct); Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department (501st precinct); and the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department (502nd precinct). All locations are open from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. on election day.
