Family in Flint Hill
Jean Bell Herr, 70, of Bealeton died Oct. 17 at her residence.
Mrs. Herr was bom in Haymarket, Va. to Barbara Bell of Manassas, and the late Ralph Pendleton Bell.
She retired from Vint Hill Farms Station after 25 years of service there and with the Pentagon.
Mrs. Herr is survived by her husband Frank W. Herr of Bealeton, five daughters, Shelley Frye of Manassas, Debbie Heidler and Donna Beach both of Warrenton, Jody Gheen of Flint Hill and Laurie Herr Cox of Stafford.
Additional survivors include sisters Barbara Weston of Montross, Va., Thelma Holmes of Manassas, Patsy Wines of Bealeton, Evelyn Scharf of Oregon, and Kathy Bettis of Nokesville, three brothers, Philip and Richard Bell of Haymarket, dnd Eddie Bell of Nokesville, and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Oct. 20 at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. Interment followed in Remington Cemetery.

Dennis H. Ralls
Sperryville resident
Dennis H. Ralls, 80, of Sperryville died Oct. 20 at Oak Springs Nursing Home in Warrenton.
Mr. Ralls was bom Oct. 3, 1924 in Browntown, Va. to the late Houston George Washington Ralls and Calhe Clatterbuck Ralls.
He was a member of Thornton’s Gap Regular Baptist Church in Sperryville. He loved going to church, being with his family, good food and talking about the “good ole days.”
