Sculpture workshop

A sculpture workshop will be held Nov. 5-7 at the Oldway Art Center in Sperryville from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The class will be taught by Charles E. Flickinger, sculpture teacher at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C., Virginia Commonwealth University and The Art League. Cost is $300 which includes model fee and materials. Singing policeman

Danny Figgins, aka The singing policeman” will join the David Clanagan Singers for a concert to benefit the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company at the fire hall Saturday, Nov. 6 at 6 p.m. The event is free but donations will be accepted at the door.
