Haunted house

On Saturday, Oct. 30, the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company’s annual Open House will be from 2-5 p.m. at the comer of Route 522 and Fodderstack Road. Included is a barbecue lunch, live fire and rescue demonstrations, hands on encounter with the community’s award-winning fire engine and ambulance and free blood pressure checks. Those interested in showing crafts at the event may contact Karen Williams at (540) 635-4673. At 7 p.m., young and old will also have a chance to indulge their fear factor at the annual Haunted Firehouse. The haunted house is also open on Friday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m.
