For Richie Burke, coach of the Rappahannock County High School girls’ softball team, making it to Regional action was a privilege, especially with such a young team. The Panthers will only lose three members of the team to graduation, keeping a solid base for next season.
The Panthers hosted Riverheads High School of Greenville last week, holding* the Gladiators scoreless until the sixth inning, an inning that would determine the final 3-1 win for Riverheads.
