While driying a tractor for Superior Paving Corp., Josae Chavez, 36, of Oxon Hill, Md. was adjusting controls on the tractor when his foot slipped off the pedal, sliding down to the front wheel of the vehicle. The wheel pulled his foot downward, pulling his body to the ground and the tractor proceeded to drive over Chavez.

Chavez was airlifted from the Flint Hill Fire and Rescue Department fairgrounds to Inova Fairfax Hospital and treated for a dislocated knee, shoulder and abdominal injuries, according to Virginia State Police Trooper Derrick Mauck.
