This time, users have had to abandon the spring. Those who were able have dug new wells. But there is still one family (possibly two) who have had no running water in the home for five months. These folks have depended on the kindness of a neighbor who has allowed them to use the water in her home. Although they appreciate her help tremendously, I am sure that they would prefer to get their own water back.
From January through March, after the spring first collapsed, resident Linda Thomas had neighbors from four houses using her well. She allowed them to use her home and her water while she was gone to Cape Cod. This
