The Hume Day committee is seeking more trailers, artisans, and all those interested in the opportunity to exhibit thenwork to the community. If you would like to be considered for this event, please send an email describing your specialty to humeday@yahoo.com. If applicable, include a digital photo showing an example of your work. The committee will review all applications prior to selecting vendors and exhibitors. The deadline for submission is August 15,2005.
“I am a volunteer on The Hume Day committee and we are seeking vendors for our September event. I know there are a lot of very talented artists in Rappahannock and we would like to get the word out to them that we are looking for vendors,” said Bridget Chisholm.
The committee is also looking for historical interpreters that focus on interpreting the lifestyle that existed in the Hume area during the mid 1800s and anyone with historical knowledge of Hume, including photos from days gone by.
