The U-12 Rappahannock Soccer Association Girl’s soccer team, the Fire Benders, downed Culpeper on Saturday, posting a win for its final game of the season. Joslyn Smith put Rappahannock on the boards first midway through the first half followed by a goal by Jessica Boutte making the score 2-0 at the end of the half.
Sarah Henry defended Rappahannock’s goal with several key saves in the first half, while Amy Cooper protected the Fire Bender goal in the second half.
