CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER

Social Services

Provides short-term counseling for families and crisis intervention in the Family Connections model. Collaborates with staff, volunteers, interns and program manager. Completes intakes and case notes in a timely manner. Assists volunteers and co-facilitator in running the teen alumni group & acts as lead staff in running a Parenting with Love and Limits Group one time per week. Assists program manager in designing counseling that is unique and accessible. Assists with training for staff, volunteers and interns. Assists with program implementation and development for children between the ages of 10 and 12. Requires a Masters degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field and one year of experience working with troubled youth in a school, outpatient or residential setting as well as experience facilitating groups and working with families of troubled youth. Must be licensed as LCSW, LPC OR LMFT or able to obtain licensure within 6 months of appointment. Must work three evening per week & maintain a flexible schedule.
