One thing that the store has seen less and less of in sales is their feed and fertilizer business, which Nicholas says is just a sign of the times and the folks living in Rappahannock County now.
However, for common repairs around the farm or house, nuts, bolts and even paints can be found in the hardware section.
Pickin’ Party
Nicholas’ cousin, Debbie Zinn began holding Pickin’ Parties at Hackley’s in the summer and fall several years ago, supporting the Rappahannock 4-H Club and Relay for Life with the proceeds.
