Reid Day

The 10th Annual DA.R.E. Field Day to promote the Drug Abuse Resistance Education program will be held on Friday, June 10 at 9:30 a.m. at the Rappahannock County Elementary School.
DA.R.E. Day includes traditional field day events for the children throughout the day ending with a tug-of-war.
McGruff, the mascot of the National Crime Prevention Council, will appear in large balloon form, along with Warrenton Police Department’s barrel ride, local fire departments , “monster truck” life-saving demonstrations, exhibitors and attractions expected to provide education, sports, and fun competitions,. There will be free snow cones, popcorn and cotton candy for everyone, and a wholesome festival atmosphere.
Hands-on exhibits, displays, and drug-free lifestyle information will be available for both students and adults.
This is a day to enjoy numerous events and exhibits as well as the simple pleasure of time spent with family and friends.
