The Wakefield Country Day School bus shop was broken into sometime between May 27 and May 31. According to the Rappahannock County Sheriffs Department, the forced entry and theft of lawn equipment is under investigation.
Also reported missing from the Huntly area is a Huskey FT Supreme 54” mower deck riding mower.
On June 4, someone forced entry into a Castleton residence, taking an unknown amount of property. The incident is under investigation.

Accident
On June 1, shortly after midnight, Thomas Wayne Clatterbuck, 52, of Warrenton, fell asleep while driving a 1994 Chevrolet pickup on Rt. 211 E, going off the roadway. Lt. Roger Jenkins of the Rappahannock County Sheriff’s Department charged Clatterbuck with failure to maintain control.
