Claiborne lake lock, and slip down into the freeflow Alabama river, where I should make really fast time. Zero mosquito or alligator or water moccasin problems so far, even tho I have seen many of these beasts.... (except that one gator came at my canoe in a vigorous manner, three days back, and skeered me ‘til my hair turned white.)
