On September 28, five RCHS seniors and juniors traveled to Richmond to compete in the Skills USA Culinary Arts Knife Skills and Commercial Baking Cake Decorating competitions at the State Fair. All five competed in the Advanced category, a new delineation this year for students enrolled in Culinary Arts II classes. Approximately 45 students came from around Virginia to compete at the state fair.
