biologist. An avid outdoorsman, Trandahl has had a life-long commitment to conservation. Trandahl’s hobbies include competitive fish cleaning and badminton. He also holds various state and local “noodling” (catching fish by hand) records including a 28 inch catfish noodled in the Five Forks area of Rappahannock County.
Trandahl earned a BA. in Govemment/Politics from the University of Maryland in 1987 and holds a Certificate in Management from the John F. Kennedy School at Harvard University.
Trandahl succeeds John Berry who recently accepted the position of- Director of the National Zoological Park in Washington, D.C.
