this proud old store on the main street through town. I occasionally enjoy making a simple documentation of interesting architecture. In this case, I had to clear the site of extraneous visual baggage like other signs, cars, and trees that obscured the view. I love the way this building screams "Seed" to the street and the arid climate of southern New Mexico has preserved its colors well."
Displayed in all of Mullany’s work is a mastery and an advanced understanding of paint and light reminiscent of a number of his historical mentors, e.g. Thomas Cole and the Hudson River School, as well as such 20th century American masters as Edward Hopper and Grant Wood.
