“It is a federal issue. I do not support illegal immigration. The federal government needs to address the bureaucratic red tape that delays, delays, delays legal status for those that are trying to go through the proper channels.
“I have no problem with hard-working, law-abiding citizens entering our country, just as our forefathers did- I support work permits that additionally provide a safety net for our citizens in terms of tracking status.

“I support the Herndon Tbwn Council's decision (to create a day labor site near the Loudoun County border). People are very, very polarized on this issue. I despise the vitriolic dialogue that is taking place.
“As I stated above, we need realistic solutions.”
