here’s the challenge ... here we have a mayor and town council trying to deal with a hard problem that is not a problem of their own making.... The people doing something wrong are the federal government for not enforcing the law.... Have the INS (now Immigrations and Customs Enforcement) come set up a card table and check people’s bona fides.... If you did that four or five days, there wouldn’t be a day labor center in Herndon. “The first two priorities I will have in drafting a budget will be fully funding the K-12 formula and then fully funding the college base adequacy formula for higher education. I will first do those two things and then see what other money we have....

I’m not sure GMU (George Mason University) is happy with the way the formula treats them.
