Rufus Reid is one of the major bassists in international jazz. He is also wellknown as an educator and composer. The BBC Big Band in Great Britain has recorded three of his jazz standards arrangements. He has performed and recorded with Andre Previn and Kathleen Battle, among others, and has many other recordings to his credit.
