According to Mayor Leggett, the Town Council should receive bids for the construction of the new reservoirs within the next two weeks.
After extensive termite damage was discovered in Avon Hall in addition to the previous water damage, repairs to the building are expected to cost the full $75,000 that Washington received in an insurance payout for Avon Hall's bad flooding. Claudia Mitchell will serve as the town's representative to Peter Kreyling, who will be performing the repairs.
The council voted to have a Christmas party for Washington on December 11.
