Food Distribution
Rappahannock Care Coalition is working with the Social Services Department, the Area Agency on Aging and the Blue Ridge Food Bank to provide food for those who need the assistance.
Food distribution will take place every third Thursday from 4-6 p.m. at the Washington Baptist Church. The next distribution will be Oct. 20 .
October 20: RappFLOW
meeting
The regular monthly meeting of the Rappahannock Friends and Lovers of Our Watershed (RappFLOW) will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday October 20 at the county library. Agenda includes planning the small subwatershed meetings of land owners in the Upper Thornton River watershed; testing and distributing the questionnaire for citizen interests in watershed issues; and design of the new map-based Rappflow web site.
