How Is RCCA Different?

RappFLOW encourages conservation easements, especially on riparian land (the banks of streams and rivers), but does not focus exclusively on land conservation. We do.

The Krebser Fund for Rappahannock County Conservation

The Krebser Fund is one of seven funds managed by the Piedmont Foundation, a PEC supporting organization managed by a 10-member board. The fund honors the memory of Dr. Werner Krebser, a family practitioner and 22-year member and chair of the County Planning Commission, who worked to protect the scenic beauty and open spaces of Rappahannock County from 1961 until his death in 2003.
