Rappahannock girls head coach Jared Nieters seems pleased with the way his team is slowly coming together, especially on the defensive side of the ball.
“Emma Hathaway has done a good job of communicating to and organizing the defense,” Nieters added.
Rosenbaum’s goal was also Rappahannock’s first of the season. Earlier, the Lady Panthers dropped games to Millbrook, 3-0 and 1-0, and Warren County, 4-0.
“The team is developing a cohesive offense with effective play on the flanks by Hannah and (sophomore) Ashley Vest,” Nieters said. “Courtney Hutcheson has done an incredible job in net, quickly learning to play her athleticism to a new sport.”
