Rappahannock County High School graduate, Nancie Maria Gallegos (Nancie Gallegos Kie), was admitted as a new member of the Virginia State Bar in a special session of the Supreme Court of Virginia on October 31, 2005. Nancie graduated from Rappahannock County High School in 1997 prior to attending the University of Virginia where she received a Bachelors of Arts degree in 2001. She then received a Juris Doctor degree from Howard University School of Law in Washington, D.C. in May, 2005.
Nancie is the daughter of Sam and Wanda Snead and granddaughter of Rayner and Lois Snead of Washington, Virginia. She now enjoys a successful practice as an associate at the Law Office of Thomas J. Curcio, RC. in Alexandria, Virginia. Her firm focuses on personal injury, wrongful death, and insurance disputes. She currently lives in Alexandria, Virginia with her husband, Brian Kie.
Nancie’s advice to young people: “Never give up on yourself and you can be whatever you want to be; I’m living proof of that.” She credits the support of her family and friends for her success along with an unfailing drive to complete her dream.
