The Successful Candidate will conduct field and desk audits of businesses to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Must have considerable knowledge of general accounting practices and principles. Requires the ability to research and communicate state and local taxation codes effectively with business owners, operators, attorneys and financial officers. Graduation from an accredited college or university with a major concentration in accounting or finance or equivalent education and experience in accounting, auditing and tax preparation. CPA preferred. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with a personal computer, Microsoft software and have experience in a networked environment. Professional, flexible, team approach is an absolute must to function successfully in a setting requiring crosstrained employees with the ability to assume other duties as needed.
