Cannon named
to Dean’s List James Michael Cannon of Castleton has been named to the fall semester dean’s list at Radford University. Cannon is a junior management major. Michael’s mother, Marti Cannon, is delighted as is his grandfather, Ray T. Cannon, also of Castleton. To be named to the dean’s list, a student must have taken 15 or more credit hours and have a grade point average of 3.4 or above with no grade below a C. Radford is a teaching university that offers a diverse curriculum of more than 140 undergraduate and graduate degrees. A student body of 9,552 studies in seven colleges: Arts and Sciences, Business and Economics, Education and Human Development, Waldron College of Health and Human Services, Visual and Performing Arts, Information Science and Technology and the College of Graduate and Extended Education. RU is located on the New River in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Southwest Virginia.
