Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection (RLEP)

RLEP is “dedicated to preserving the natural resources and rural character of Rappahannock County, Virginia.” Founded in 1970 to fight a power line, RLEP recently celebrated a 35th birthday. Over the years RLEP has supported conservation easements, the county comprehensive plan, recycling, land use taxation, agricultural and forestal districts, traffic studies, and historic preservation.
