Laura Lee Skauge of Washington, Virginia has been awarded a scholarship in sculpture to the prestigious Penland School of Crafts in Penland, North Carolina. Penland School of Crafts is an internationally known center for education and training in fine American I crafts. Laura will study metals sculpture with Dr. Chris Ramsay, noted Native American metals sculptor and metallurgical engineer, whose work has been featured at SOFAChicago and published in Metalsmith: Exhibition in Print
