Rappahannocker just a few weeks before Christmas with its psychedelic blaze of color that Lykes captured at its most glorious moment.
Editor Anita Sherman and Leesburg paginator Michelle Burdette garnered a third place win for their combined efforts in “A Walk on the Wild Side” which appeared last April. Anita Sherman wrote the story and took the photographs but it was Burdette’s clever page design and layout that undoubtedly caught the eye of the judges.
