Sarah Wheatley performed a one-person act at the 10th annual “Share the Fun” talent show held earlier this month. Evelyn Oyster directed her final outstanding 4-H production. She has donated countless hours towards the success of this program and her efforts showed. Twenty-two performers delighted the audience with singing, dancing, and flute and guitar playing. The entire program was a team effort with performers coming early to decorate the stage and others providing refreshments. This year's performances included: Justin Smith - “American Heritage,” Skylar Owens - “Silent Night,” Cassandra Harrison - ‘The Great Panjandrum,” Caitlin Diley - The Galway Piper, ” Will Thompson and Tristan Palme - “Ocean Avenue,” Christine Minor - “Honor March,” Tessa Crews, Isabelle Eastham and Trusten Murrah - “L-O-V-E,” Kori Smith - “Drums Up Front March,” Taylor Hitt - “Mississippi Girl,” Megan Early, Casey Fletcher, Al Newman and Matt Fletcher - “Fireman,” Sarah Wheatley - “Sticky Situation,” Laura Wheatley - “Heads, Carolina, Tails, California," Luke Bedortha and Julia Hutfils - “Snows of New York,” and Laura Wheatley, Megan Wheatley - “Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride.” Many thanks to Laura Wheatley and Aaron Oyster for emceeing the event; Corey Hitt and Justin Leidenheimer for directing the lighting; to Andrew Oyster for his stage management; to Robin Oyster for judging this event; and to Mama G and the entire Amissville 4-H Community Club for providing wonderful refreshments.
