In addition to the awards, t-shirts and the cheers of the huddled masses lining the race course, for the fifth time we are offering drawings for gifts donated by local businesses. Local B&Bs including Middleton Inn will offer overnight accommodations for two, the Flint Hill Public House is offering lunch for four, and the Country Cafe is offering a gift certificate, among many others. You must be present at the awards ceremony to wan these prizes.
The race runs from the Flint Hill Packing Shed downn Rt. 522 to a right turn onto Fodderstack Road. Continue winding down the Fodderstack Road where some helpful local residents wall keep you from wandering off the course. Hint: if the only other runners you see are four-legged, have ear tags and a certain bovine expression, you’re off course, unless you are a member of Future Farmers of America. At several points.
