• On Thursday, April 6, the Rappahannock County Water and Sewer Authority will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Courthouse on Gay Street. • On Tuesday, April 11, the Rappahannock County School Board will meet at 7 p.m. (closed session) and 7:30 p.m. (public session) at RCHS band , room. • On April 12 at 7:30 p.m. the Town Council and the Planning Commission will hold a joint public hearing at Town Hall to consider the adoption of the following ordinances: 1. An ordinance to amend and re-enact Article 1 and 5 of the Zoning Ordinances of the Town of Washington to create a Government Services Zoning District. 2. An application by the Town of Washington to re-zone 4.00 acres, a portion of Tax Map 20A-1-115, a portion of the “Avon Half property, to Government Services if such ordinance be adopted by the Town of Washington.
