Easter Cantata

The Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Association invites the community to their Easter Cantata, “The Victory” on Saturday, April 8, at 6 p.m., at the Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Center, 15044 Ryland Chapel Rd, Rt. 640, Rixeyville. Musical guests for the evening include Donnie Carter, formerly of Rappahannock County and now Winchester, Agape of Fredericksburg, and Voices of Praise of Culpeper. The All Association Cantata Mass Choir is under the direction of Rev. Lemuel Montgomery and Sis. Everetta Lewis. Ticket donation is $5/person, children 17 & under are . free, college students are $2/w/college id. Bluegrass Gospel

The Bourne Family, a bluegrass gospel group from Gordonsville, VA., will be at the Flint Hill Pentecostal Church on Sunday, April 9 at 7 p.m. The church is located on Aileen Road which is Route 641 in Flint Hill. For more information call (540) 636-2497.

Easter Service

Hopewell Baptist Church in Sperryville will be having services from Monday, April 10 through Friday, April 14 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. Each night will have a different guest speaker. Monday, Reverend Ray Jackson, from Warrenton, Tuesday, Reverend Jon Heddleston from Sperryville, Wednesday, Reverend James G. Mack from Culpeper, Thursday, Reverend Terry Brown of Reva and Friday Gospel Singers from Rappahannock County. On Sunday, April 16 at 6 a.m. Sunrise services, with Reverend James G. Mack as guest preacher, following the morning Worship at 11 a.m., with Reverend Anna L. Allsberry, Associate Pastor of Hopewell will bring the message. Breakfast will be served following the services. Everyone is welcome.

Passover celebration

The Fauquier Jewish Congregation invites you to join in their seventh annual celebration of Passover at a joyous first night Seder on Wednesday, April 12. They will have traditional Passover foods, recite the Four Questions, sing Passover songs together, give thanks and prayers together in this festival of freedom.
