Quite a number from our area enjoyed the “Kids Day” fishing in Robinson River on Saturday, which was sponsored by Graves Mountain Lodge owners.
April 1st is considered by many as “April Fool Day”, but to those who were out volunteering, it was “Clean-up Day” and we offer thanks to those who are willing to give of their time as volunteers for the iniportant work. Highways and streets look so much better because of you.
The Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Association, of which Nazareth Baptist Church here in Boston, is a member, will be having their Easter Cantata on Saturday, April 8 beginning at 6 p.m. and will take place at the Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Center in Rixeyville. You are invited to attend and worship in remembrance of our Lord.
Congratulations are in order for Miss Catherine Ouellette of Griffinsburg whose engagement to Gilbert Uribe, has been announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ouellette with the wedding date set to take place June 7 in Las Vegas. She is also the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Hoffman.
Wedding anniversary wishes go out to niece and husband, Doug and Patty Doty, who celebrated their day on Tuesday.
We extend heartfelt sympathy to the family of Mrs. Mae McWilliams of Otzwarongo Farm, here in Boston, who recently passed away. We’re glad to report th&t many in our area who have been ill, and especially flu victims, have greatly improved and are able to be out.

Down the road a short distance from Castleton is located the Forest Grove Baptist Church and they will be having their Easter Breakfast from 7:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. with the menu consisting of fried potatoes, fried applies, scrambled eggs, gravy, sausage and biscuits. All are welcome.
