We are veiy excited about the caliber of our auction items this year, many of which have been generously donated by Rappahannock County businesses and community members. Hearthstone School greatly appreciates these donations and would like to sincerely thank these businesses and individuals for their generous support.
The auction will feature many wonderful items, including a beach weekend in Fenwick Island, and overnight accommodations at both the Middleton Inn in Washington and the Hopkins Ordinary in Sperryville. Marriott Ranch has donated trail rides, and Rappahannock Cellars has donated a wine tasting. Several other wonderful items are still in the works from other local restaurants and inns.
The following businesses have generously donated gift certificates, gift baskets and other items for the auction: Sage, Nature’s Way Day Spa, Careful Carpets, Mountain Adventure Summer Camp, Mountain Mystic, Free State Coffee, Joan of • Art Framing, Copper Fox Antiques, Fox Den Antiques, Cathy’s Restaurant, and Green Mountain Horticulture landscaping services. Each student class at Hearthstone has also created a special gift basket for the auction.
Other auction items include artwork, paintings, antiques, crystal and glassware, and lots of other gift items. Local practitioners have donated nutritional counseling, yoga classes, knitting lessons and massage sessions. We will also have baked goods, arts and crafts, jewelry, games and much more!
Hearthstone is a local private school that has operated in Rappahannock County for 10 years. The school is based on the Waldorf method of education, and is dedicated to the education of children in a nurturing, creative and safe environment. Students at Hearthstone are educated in a well-rounded curricula of academics, music and the arts.
