Rappahannock Route 629 to close for a day Crews to replace the Jordan River bridge deck On Thursday, April 13, a section of Route 629 in Rappahannock County will be closed to all traffic while crews from the Virginia Department of Transportation replace the deck on the bridge over the Jordan River. Operations to remove the existing wooden deck and replace it with concrete box beams are scheduled to begin at 8 AM, weather permitting.
