Zimbabwe visitors
Tim and Tom deSchwartz from Harare, Zimbabwe, visited Rappahannock this past weekend to hear the New York Philharmonic Chamber Ensemble presented by the Chateauville Foundation at the Lorin and Dietlinde Maazel concert hall in Castleton, and visit their sponsors Hal and Bev Hunter of Amissville. Tim and Tom, sophomores at Columbia University in New York City, are regular listeners at the New York Philharmonic, so it was a special treat to meet some of the musicians from that orchestra here in our rural Rappahannock setting.
