New troopers
Five recent graduates of the Virginia State Police Academy in Chesterfield County have been assigned to the Area 12 State Police Office in Warrenton, which covers Fauquier and Rappahannock County. The new troopers are Chris Carson, 23, of Fauquier County, Trooper Todd Ralls, 24, of Warren County, Trooper Brandon Johnson, 25, is from Louisa County, Trooper Richard Aaron Stiltner is from Galax,VA, and Trooper James Douglas Pugh Jr., is from Buena Vista,VA. Johnson will be assigned to Rappahannock, though he lives in Fauquier. By becoming a trooper, Johnson is following in his father’s footsteps.
