Shawl Ministry
Do you like to knit or crochet? Would you like to learn? Come and be a part of the Prayer Shawl Ministry, a group which lovingly creates shawls for those in their community that may be grieving, dealing with illness, or suffering from a loss, and also for those experiencing a joy such as a wedding or new baby. The Amissville United Methodist Women are sponsoring a local unit of this nationwide ministry which will be meeting on the first and fourth Wednesdays of each month from 9 a.m. -11:30 a.m. Contact Betty Jean Wheeler at 937-8251 or Sarah Boelte at 987-8819 for more information .
