Mrs. Dorothy McWaters of Jameson Mill Road, Culpeper, was given a surprise birthday party on Saturday, March 25 at her home by her daughter, Robin Allen.
Bom on March 25, 1926, Dorothy Marie Kelley, in the Piney Run region of Rappahannock in the area now within the bounds of Shenandoah National Park at her stepgrandfather, Dr. James T. Kelley’s home.
Dorothy’s parents were the late Charlie Kelley and Ruth Elizabeth Bolen, who will be 97 in June.
Dorothy was the firstborn and eldest child, their being seven all together, of whom five are living.
