team’s high scorer with 22 points. Smith and fellow senior guard Bobby Czekaj added 20 points and 15 points, respectively.

The Panthers lost 65-54 at Calvary Temple School on Monday. Czekaj led the team with 18 points. Smith scored 14 points and Hanberry added nine points.

Rappahannock’s record is 212 overall and 1-3 in the Bull Run District, not including the results of Wednesday’s game versus Manassas Park, which ended after press time.

The boys’ next game is Friday, when they host Madison County at RCHS. They will travel to Springfield on Tuesday to play Word of Life Christian Academy. On Jan. 25, they will play at defending Group A state champion Clarke County. All three games begin at 7:30 p.m.
