As The Juilliard School’s Graduate Resident Quartet (one of the school’s highest distinctions), the ensemble returns this season to Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, makes a debut at the Orange County Performing Arts Center, appears at the Carlsbad Music Festival (which they co-founded), and continues its relationship with the Colburn School in Los Angeles, where they participate in concerts and outreach events.

The Calder has enjoyed debuts with the Washington Performing Arts Society’s Kreeger Series at the Kennedy Center, the Mostly Mozart Festival at Lincoln Center, UCLA Live, and San Francisco Performances. After they participated in the LA Philharmonic’s Minimalist Jukebox festival, the LA Times wrote that “the Calder Quartet was stunning.”
