Jan 28: Open house
The public is invited to a special Open House on Sunday, January 28, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Wakefield Country Day School, a preschool through twelfth grade college preparatory day school located at 1059 Zachary Taylor Highway in Flint Hill. Come take a tour of the school and meet some of the faculty, staff, parents, and students who make up the Wakefield community. The James Madison University Brass Band will perform Feb. 2 at 7:30 p.m. at the BB &T Center for the Performing Arts in Luray. Joe Bowman of Coldwell Banker-Panorama Realty is sponsoring this event. Feb. 5: Bland Concert registrations due
The Rappahannock Lions Club 23d Annual Bland music contest will be held at the Theatre in Washington, Virginia on February 18, 2007. Student vocalists and instrumentalists in Rappahannock County schools, grades K-12, are encouraged to register for the contest, which awards cash prizes to the winners.
